What to Bring to Orem Drug Rehab Residential Treatment
|
Instead of wondering exactly what can you take with you while you are at Orem Drug Rehab's substance abuse and mental health treatment centers in Utah. You might want to ask yourself, what might possibly be a distraction for me to fully heal from my addiction(s)!
The reason we share this is that all too often, clients compare our residential treatment to that of prison rules when it comes to what you can and cannot bring with you to any of our awesome rehab facilities! Not only is this a poor attitude going into inpatient treatment; but it is also dangerous in that you can jeopardize not only your own life but as well as others that are currently already in the program with you! |
Orem Drug Rehab takes it's job very seriously when it comes to saving lives and restoring health and sanity for every addict that walk through our front doors. That is why it is absolutely crucial that we set up every client that we come into contact with for success! The way we do this is through careful planning by not allowing you "the addict" to bring anything with you that may or may not distract you or others while under our supervision and care.
Sometimes clients feel that this is demeaning to them as they are adults and know how to act responsibly. However, I ask you...were you very responsible right up until this point which led you to our residential treatment doors? That is why we as well as all other rehab centers in Utah insist on regulating what you can and can not bring with you to treatment. In all honesty it really is a matter of life and death. So with that in mind here is a brief list to help you get an idea of what is permissible or not!
